Women's Rowing Returns For Racing Season In Orlando/Deland This Weekend

The Jacksonville women's rowing team is set to race this weekend at Central Florida and Stetson.

The back-to-back MAAC Champions look to hit the water with speed in its first official tests of the 2024 season. JU will first race against UCF on Friday, with the first race set for 9:30 am. The Dolphins will travel East as they head for Stetson and will race familiar foes in Embry Riddle, Rollins, Florida Wesleyan, Drake and of course, Stetson.

"It is very exciting to get our official spring season underway," said head coach Mike Lane. "Our women are hungry, and ready to drive through our spring racing season! They have work tremendously hard, and have been outstanding teammates, it is really a pleasure to work with this group and am beyond excited to get to work tomorrow at UCF and Saturday at Stetson."

"We have had a long highway to get to this point, but could not be more proud of these women. Go Phins!"
